Lil Baby, Atlanta’s rising star, is putting in serious work this year.
The rapper released his debut mixtape Perfect Timing back in April, and shared the follow-up tape Harder Than Hard several months later. He’s also dropped a collaborative project with Marlo, joined forces with some of Atlanta’s biggest names, started his own label (4 Pockets Full) and became a part of the Quality Control family—all of which happened in less than a year. But Lil Baby wasn’t done.
Back in early October, he told The Fader he was on a mission to release three solo tapes before the end of 2017. Tonight, he completed that goal.
The 21-year-old rapper has come through with Too Hard, a 16-track project that includes appearances by Yachty, Gunna, Moneybagg Yo, and Rylo. It also features production by Quay Global, Turbo, Z3N, and more.
You can stream the mixtape below on Spotify.
We didn’t have to wait too long for another Dave East project.
Just months after he released Paranoia: A Love Story, the Harlem rapper returned with a 16-track mixtape called Karma. The tape is hosted by DJ Holiday and features appearances by Offset, Lil Durk, Don Q, and Chris Brown, as well as production by Mally Raw, 808 Mafia, and Black Metaphor.

Ever since East signed with Def Jam in 2016, fans have been holding their collective breath for his “official” debut album. Though Paranoia consisted of 13 tracks, East referred to the project as an EP. He also said it was an “appetizer” for his highly anticipated album, as it will include more stories about his life pre-stardom.
“Like for what I was going through, there were a lot of stories that I didn’t really touch on, like super-detailed and specific moments that I haven’t really spoke about on records,” he told Billboard. “That’s more than anything that and I still want to run around a little more. I still ain’t tour yet. There’s a lot of things that I still want to do before I say, ‘Alright. Here’s my album.’”
Sniper Gang affiliate Kodak Black confirmed today that he will be dropping new music this Friday titled, “Project Baby 2: All Grown Up”. The Florida rapper has made quite the “comeback” of sorts since being released from prison, releasing his “First Day Out” single with a dope visual which shows Lil Kodak enjoy his life outside jail. Also his latest single “201519971800” shows how versatile he is as a rapper. He has also released his latest studio album “Project Baby 2”, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Top 200 upon release. He also told XXL that he has new music with Lil Wayne on the way as well. It seems as the jail sentence he served in a way mature him to focus on his music and lets just hope he continues to move forward in the right direction.
